We learned today the sad news of the passing of Lawrence E. Stager, one of the founding members of the White-Levy Archaeological Publications Program.  From its very beginnings in 1997, Larry helped shape and guide the program, and for twenty years as a member of the board he was a constant source of expert knowledge and sage advice. The program's record of success is in good part due to his inspiration, participation, and good sense.
