 **Dr. Gilbert Marshall** is a Research Associate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His interests include Paleolithic and Mesolithic chipped stone technology and raw material use, subsistence, mobility, and transitions. He is currently working on assemblages from cave and rockshelter sites across Greece, including Kephalari, Grava, and Boila. He has participated in excavations, field surveys, and museum-based studies in the UK, Southern Africa, and Greece, and was awarded his Ph.D. by the University of Southampton in 1997. He will be responsible for copy editing the chapters, preparation of the Theopetra Cave digital archive for hosting with the Archaeology Data Service in York and managing the award from the Shelby White and Leon Levy Program for Archaeological Publications.
