 Laurence Astruc is a senior researcher in CNRS at the ‘Archéologies et Sciences de l’Antiquité’ laboratory (ArScan), at the ‘Du village à l’état au Proche et Moyen-Orient’ team (VEPMO). Her main research topic regards the technical practices and cultural developments based on the study of the chipped stone industry (raw material provenience, technology and use-wear). She has been working in Cyprus, Syria, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Albania and France.
