PCSX (Publication of the 1975-1977 Excavations of the Courtyard of the Xth Pylon) in Karnak

Raphaël Angevin is a field archaeologist and a prehistorian. He is currently curator at the French Ministry of Culture (SRA-DRAC Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and scientific member of the UMR 7041-ArScAn of the French National Center fo Scientific Research (permanent position, CNRS, Team Du village à l’Etat au Proche et Moyen-Orient, Nanterre). Specialist of the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age lithic industries, he prepares a  PhD in Near Eastern Archeology at the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University devoted to the technological study of flint and obsidian productions from Mari (Tell Hariri, Syria) and other mesopotamian sites. He also coordinates the publication of 1975 -1977 archaeological excavations of the courtyard of the Xth Pylon in Karnak (PCSX, with G. Charloux, CNRS). His research interests focus on the origins of the Karnak temples, as well as the ancient egyptian material culture from the IVth to the IInd millennium BC.
