Khirokitia, an Aceramic Neolithic site in Cyprus (7th-6th millennium BC)

Françoise Le Mort, former director of the Maison de l’Orient et de la Méditerranée – Jean Pouilloux, is a senior researcher at the Archéorient laboratory in Lyon. Her main research topics regards biology and mortuary practices of the ancient populations of the Near East and the nearby regions. She has been working in Cyprus, Israel, Turkey and Armenia.
