Bérangère Redon is an historian and archaeologist specialist of Greco-Roman Egypt, former member of the French Institute of Oriental Archaeology in Cairo and member of the French CNRS as a Junior Researcher (HiSoMA-Maison de l’Orient et de la Méditerranée, Lyon). She worked intensively on baths in Eastern Mediterranean and has two main field programs: she has been excavating at Taposiris and Plinthine since 2002 and took the direction of the program in 2018 ; she has been involved since 2011 in the French expedition in the Eastern desert for which she was granted an ERC fund as a PI (ERC Desert Networks program 2017-2021: Starting Grant Proposal number 759078)
